A key part of the Welsh response to the Sustainable Development Goals is the Well-being of Future Generations Act (Wales) – a new law passed by the Welsh Assembly which puts a duty on Welsh public bodies to work towards improving the social, economic, environmental and cultural well-being of Wales.

Internationally focused groups in Wales played a key part in ensuring that a globally responsible Wales is one of the seven goals. We are now working together to make sure that Wales maximises its contribution to eliminating poverty world-wide.
