Faith School

Kachambala is a small subcounty North of the city of Mbale, an Eastern region of Uganda. The Faith school was founded in 2006 by Cuthbert Okurut, a Baptist Pastor, in response to a request for improved education for nursery and primary children from his local community. The school was set up as a not-for-profit Community Benefit Organisation and pupils are taught English from their very first day. Since its inception, education attainment has consistently far outperformed government run schools in the region.
