Czech-UNDP Partnership for SDGs – 2026 Challenge Fund Call for Applications

Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Republic of Moldova
Maint y Grant:
USD $20,000 and USD $40,000, the applicants provide additional co-funding of at least 20% of the total cost of the project.
Cymhwysedd:
The eligible applicants include the private sector, NGOs, universities, state institutions or research centres. The applicants are required to engage local partners to assure viability in local conditions and to promote the sustainability and scalability of the solution.

The objective of the Czech Challenge Fund: Innovations for SDGs (CF) is to facilitate transfer of know-how and innovative solutions that would address development challenges in selected countries and contribute to the achievement of SDGs. The Fund is looking for innovative solutions that generate improvement and value by introducing new methods, ideas, or products. Solutions must relate to the stated development challenges outlined in the Fund’s Terms of Reference.

Commonwealth Foundation

Commonwealth countries. Organisations registered in the UK are ineligible to apply as a lead applicant.
Maint y Grant:
GBP £15,000 to GBP £30,000 per year for up to two years
Cymhwysedd:
Open to not-for-profit civil society organisations and creative organisations registered in eligible Commonwealth Foundation member countries. The applicant organisation’s average annual income over the past two years must be less than GBP £2.5 million. The requested grant must not exceed 70% of the applicant organisation’s total annual income, averaged over the past two years. Applicants must have been registered and operating for at least three years, with a minimum of three years’ demonstrable experience relevant to the proposed project and our strategic impact areas.

GBP £750-GBP £1,000. Please remember that as our Responsive Grants are normally unrestricted our main interest is in your organisation as a whole rather than the details of a specific project.
Cymhwysedd:
Charities Regie rested with OSCR. Most applications for responsive grants are from charities based in Scotland, but we will consider charities working UK-wide or where the main focus of the work is overseas development so long as you have sufficient support or activity in Scotland to have achieved registration with OSCR.
