Mae Hub Cymru Africa a SSAP yn falch iawn o gyhoeddi enillwyr Cystadleuaeth Ffotograffiaeth 2022, rhan o’r prosiect "Ail-ffurfio’r Naratif".
Y thema eleni oedd “Undod”, ac roedd y lluniau buddugol yn dangos undod o fewn teuluoedd, cymunedau ac yn fyd-eang. Cafodd y gystadleuaeth ei beiriniadu gan ffotograffwyr proffesiynol sydd â chysylltiadau â Chymru ac Africa: Takura Aldrige, Glenn Edwards ac Ustus Kalebe.
Cafodd y llun buddugol, sef "No One Knows Tomorrow", ei dynnu gan y ffotograffydd o Nigeria, Nseabasi Akpan, fel rhan o’r prosiect ''Camera for Change'' oedd yn darparu hyfforddiant ffotograffiaeth a chyfrifiadurol i'r plant yn Ibadan. Teimlai'r beirniaid fod y naratif a oedd yn cyd-fynd â'r llun buddugol yn stori gynnes o berthnasau positif a grym sgiliau ffotograffig ac adrodd straeon i bobl ifanc.
Cafodd y llun a ddaeth yn ail, sef "Learning" ei dynnu gan Richard Outram, ffotograffydd proffesiynol o Gaernarfon. Cafodd y llun ei dynnu yn Antananarivo, Madagcasgar ac yn olygfa o Akany Avoko Faravohitra, ysgol breswyl i fenywod ifanc. Dywedodd Richard "Mae'r ysgol yn darparu cefnogaeth ac addysg i ferched ifanc na fyddent fel arall wedi cael y cyfle i ddysgu sgiliau hanfodol ar gyfer eu dyfodol. Mae cymuned yr ysgol yn gweithio gyda'i gilydd mewn amgylchedd positif, sy'n gefnogol ac yn feithringar. Gallwn weld bod yr ysgol yn darparu dyfodol disglair."
Y ddau a ddaeth yn ail ydy One Small Change gan Malumbo Simwaka a “Mother Daughter Solidarity” gan Cordelia Weedon.
Mae “One Small Change”, yn darlunio’r rhaglen "Chwalu'r Rhwystrau", sydd yn cael ei chefnogi’n rhannol gan gefnogwyr Cymorth Cristnogol yng Nghymru a'r Undeb Ewropeaidd, ochr yn ochr â 875 o fenywod ym Malawi. Mae'r menywod yn cynyddu eu hincwm ac yn ymgysylltu ag awdurdodau lleol i ateb eu hanghenion.
Mae “Mother Daughter” Solidarity yn darlunio Ireen a'i mam, Rose, yn eistedd y tu allan i'w cartref yn Uganda yn 2020. Dywedodd Cordelia, y ffotograffydd, "Peintiodd Mam a Merch eu cartref gyda'i gilydd. Maen nhw’n byw wrth ymyl y Safle Treftadaeth y Byd hynafol, Nyero Rock Paintings, a ysbrydolodd eu dyluniad. Mae Ireen yn hoffi bod yn greadigol ac eisiau bod yn athrawes, felly mae Rose yn ceisio rhoi cymaint o gefnogaeth â phosibl iddi.
Dau faen prawf allweddol yn y gystadleuaeth hon a drafodwyd yn helaeth gan y beirniaid oedd naratif a chydsyniad. Teimlai'r beirniaid fod y naratif ym mhob un o'r lluniau buddugol yn bositif; yn darlunio pobl Africa yn gweithio mewn undod â'u teulu a'u cymuned, ac roedd y ffotograffwyr wedi cynrychioli'r newidiadau yr oeddent yn eu gweld gydag urddas a pharch.
Yn anffodus, ni ellir arddangos y ddau lun buddugol ar-lein. Byddant yn teithio ar draws Cymru fel rhan o uwchgynhadledd yr haf Hub Cymru Africa - #SummerUndod2022 - a gellir eu gweld yno gan fod y ffotograffwyr wedi derbyn ffurflen cydsyniad gwybodus gan y plant yn y lluniau, a bod y llun yn darlunio'r pwnc gyda charedigrwydd a pharch, yn rhydd o farn.
Fodd bynnag, gan fod y plant sy'n ganolog i'r ddau lun yn mynychu sefydliadau cywirol ar gyfer plant, penderfynodd y beirniaid y gallai un neu'r ddau o'r plant newid eu meddwl yn y dyfodol am gael eu llun yn gysylltiedig â sefydliadau cywirol.
Mae lluniau sydd yn cael eu dangos ar-lein yn cael eu dyblygu'n hawdd ac yna, maen anodd eu tynnu i ffwrdd. O'r herwydd, er mwyn diogelu hunaniaeth y plant yn y dyfodol - a rhoi’r opsiwn iddynt dynnu eu cysyniad yn ôl yn hawdd petasent yn dewis gwneud hynny - Bydd y lluniau ddim yn cael eu rhannu ar-lein. Mae’r mater hwn yn tynnu sylw at drafodaeth bwysig ar gydsyniad gwybodus mewn ffotograffiaeth ac adrodd straeon.
Yn dilyn y gystadleuaeth hon, bydd dair astudiaeth achos ar gydsyniad gwybodus yn cael eu cynhyrchu, a fydd yn trafod y gystadleuaeth ffotograffiaeth ac yn rhannu profiadau ffotograffwyr o ran sicrhau bod gwerthoedd ac egwyddorion undod yn cael eu cynnwys mewn strategaethau cydsynio gwybodus, a sut y gwnaethant oresgyn rhwystrau neu heriau i roi hynny ar waith.
Meddai ffotograffydd buddugol, Nseabasi Akpan:
“Fy nod yw addysgu, diddanu, grymuso ac ysbrydoli gyda'n luniau a dod ag ymwybyddiaeth i faterion sy'n gallu codi dealltwriaeth y cyhoedd a rhoi llais i faterion sy'n cael eu hanwybyddu. Mae'n anrhydedd mawr i mi ennill y gystadleuaeth ffotograffiaeth hon. Diolch yn fawr i'r trefnwyr.”
Meddai Cath Moulogo o Hub Cymru Africa:
“Nod y gystadleuaeth ffotograffiaeth hon oedd hyrwyddo delweddau a chanfyddiadau cadarnhaol o Affrica a bobl Affricanaidd.
“Rydym yn anelu at ail-ffurfio’r naratif sy'n gysylltiedig â'r sector cymorth o un sy'n cael ei lywio gan dybiaethau ôl-wladychol problemus i un o undod, parch a chanoli urddas.
“Yn sylfaenol i'r broses hon yw’r gydnabyddiaeth na fydd unrhyw newid cadarnhaol oni bai ein bod yn gwneud pethau'n wahanol ar y lefelau unigol a chyfunol. Mae'r gystadleuaeth ffotograffiaeth hon wedi bod yn gyfle gwych i ddangos arfer gorau mewn undod byd-eang a dathlu ffotograffwyr a storïwyr gwych yng Nghymru ac Affrica. Diolch i'r cyfranogwyr a'r beirniaid, mae gennym adnoddau newydd i rannu ein dysgu a chefnogi cymuned Cymru ac Affrica i wneud newidiadau cadarnhaol.
“Llongyfarchiadau i'n holl luniau buddugol.”

Since its very early days Llanfair and Penrhys has welcomed visitors from all over the world.
The Council of World Mission, a world-wide family of thirty churches has been the main source of the many overseas volunteers who have played such an invaluable part in the development, and everyday life of Llanfair. Through the Council of World Mission Llanfair has also created a close relationship with the Church of Jesus Christ in Madagascar (FJKM), and with Akany Avoko, a home for girls in Antananarivo, for many years there have been one or two volunteers from Madagascar living and serving in the community. Llanfair also welcome volunteers from Time For God (TFG) who come to Penrhys for almost a full year to leave and serve in the community. They have come from many different countries.
Alongside the support of the overseas volunteers has been Llanfair’s commitment to local and international justice and peace. This reflects an unswerving commitment to Christian Aid. Llanfair is committed to Fairtrade in all its policies and has a strong nucleus of committed local volunteers. It is noteworthy that while here, the overseas volunteers are introduced to trade justice issues.
